2003: The Return to Excrement

The Year of the Boycott

How many more excuses have some pride and quit!!

After getting drummed out of the playoffs last year by the Titans. I decided that I could not longer stand the disappointment and decided to boycott the entire 2003-2004 season.

That proved to be a wise desicion because the good old Steelers continued to go 6-10 this season.

Way to go losers!!

Here's what I see the major problems with the Pittsburgh Steelers are:

1.) The "Chin" must go - Bill Cowher is the longest tenured coach in the NFL(12 years and counting), yet he's proven time after time that he cannot win the big game. He's been outcoach by just about everyone(Jeff Fisher, Bill Belichek, ect). He continues to blame assistant coaches but the blame should be his. Never has so little been done with so much.

2.) Horrible Secondary - These guys couldn't cover toast. Dywayne Washington is a joke and Chad Scott gets beat more that scrambled eggs.

3.) Bad QB - The Tommy Maddox experiment is over. The dude needs to go back to selling insurance. Kurt Warner will be available next year?

 

Jerome Bettis stopped for a 2 year loss.

4.) Broken Down Bus - It's time for the fat man to sit down. A deal for Corey Dillion would be huge for the Steelers.

5.) More Depth at Line - The Steelers need more depth at Offensive line if one of the starters go down it open season on the QB.

Damn I miss Kirkland but Kendrell "Contact" Bell is filling his shoes nicely.
